The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services position made for intervention activities a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to allow the servicing of read more all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
